In November, Hannibal Regional Foundation kicked off its 2017 annual campaign, the Cherish Campaign, with the Team Member Challenge. With a goal of $160,000 the Cherish Campaign is raising funds to aid in bringing new technology, resources and women’s health services to our community. The Foundation challenged each team member to give $130 (or $5 a pay period for the year).
On December 19 the Foundation held its Cherish Campaign Celebration during which it was announced that the Team Member Challenge had raised nearly $26,000. All those participating in the challenge were entered into a drawing for a chance to win prizes, and the winners were announced at the celebration. Winners included: Jeanne Held – $500.00; Deb Flavell – a day of PTO; Amanda Wosman – a television donated by Golden Ruler; Jerry Harland – an iPad Mini from an anonymous donor; Emily Royal – a pair of Columbia sunglasses donated by the Vision Institute, along with many others.
In addition to team members, challenges were also made to the Hannibal Regional Auxiliary and the Board of Directors for both Hannibal Regional Healthcare System and Hannibal Regional Foundation. Funds raised from the Shoeless Joe’s Golf Classic and the Hannibal Cannibal will also support the Cherish Campaign.
If you haven’t already supported the team member challenge, there is still time to participate. For more information, please contact the Foundation at 573.629.3577.
