The Medical Office Building construction is nearing completion!  The second and first floors are projected to be ready for operational equipment and furniture installations by late April. We are projecting a mid-May open date for our new HRMG medical office building.  While some specialties will keep their location in the current medical office building, others will move to the new building.  The first floor of the new building will house: Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Cardiology and Internal Medicine; the second floor will have Pediatrics, Family Medicine & Geriatrics, and Women’s Health. Final site work continues around the medical building as weather permits. The operating rooms are nearing completion; startup and testing of Steris operating room integration will begin during the next two weeks. Nurse call and telemetry systems installation will be completed by the end of March while the ICU construction is finishing up.

Interior work is beginning in corridors in the Hospital and Medical Office Building adjacent to the new Medical Office Building where new floor finishes will be installed.  We appreciate your patience as the corridor between the HRMG elevators and the Administration hallway is closed.  This should be re-opened in the coming weeks. New men’s and women’s restrooms are being completed in the Hospital Administration corridor. The corridor work must be completed prior to the opening of the new Medical Office Building main entrance and the start of construction on the Hospital main entrance. The new physician’s lounge will be completed in May along with the new Hannibal Regional Conference Room. The Caring Cup coffee shop will also be ready to open when the medical building opens in May and we are excited to soon announce the extended hours and offerings of the Caring Cup.  Again, thank you all for your patience during our construction and expansion.
