Hannibal Regional Auxiliary Demonstrates Compassionate Giving

December 19th was a very special day for Hannibal Regional as the Hannibal Regional Auxiliary presented them with a check for over $98,000.  A major portion of these funds will support the Auxiliary’s pledge to the James E. Cary Cancer Center’s new Linear Accelerator.  Other projects funded by the Auxiliary include scholarships for Hannibal Regional team members, coloring books, puppets, the Wish List Program, and much more.

In 2016 the Auxiliary volunteers have given over 24,000 hours of service which is the equivalent of more than $550,000 in service to Hannibal Regional.  Service is the heart of the Auxiliary and its main purpose.  “I’m so thankful to be part of such a generous team,” shares Karen Sutor, Hannibal Regional Auxiliary President. “We enjoy supporting our community and it’s so rewarding to see our service benefit so many.”
