Shayibu Harruna, MD, is starting in November 2016 as Hannibal Regional’s full-time interventional cardiologist. From there, he trained in cardiology services in Canada from 2006-2009, before completing his Fellowship for Interventional Cardiology at the Arizona Heart Institute and Hospital and then moving on to a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology/Peripheral Intervention/Structural Heart at Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans. Dr. Harruna has been working at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Wyoming as an Interventional Cardiologist since 2013. With Dr. Harruna joining their team Hannibal Regional Medical Group will have the means to provide, more, great heart health care to the community.
