Family Medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive healthcare for people of all ages. A family physician, or nurse practitioner, delivers a range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care services, while also providing preventive care for their patients. The Family Medicine team at Hannibal Regional Medical Group in Hannibal, Missour is comprised of Dr. Calmet, Dr. Kada, Dr. Samaritoni, Beth Brothers, FNP-C, Jeanette Greving, FNP-BC, Sherry Masterson, FNP, Tatyana Rains, FNP, Melissa Reynolds, AGPCNP, and Kim Shaw FNP-BC. At Hannibal Regional, we give you a choice for who you want to provide the care you deserve. When you choose our providers you get to interact with people who truly want to guide you to better health.
Dr. Samaritoni said, “I love the relationships that develop with my patients, but of equal value to me is getting better and better at the job I do. I want to make my patients understand their diagnosis and their options going forward. If they have a wellness exam, I want them to be informed of the current recommendations about screening for various conditions so that they can decide what is best for themselves.”
“I’ve been in the healthcare field for over 40 years now and I really enjoy connecting with people and making them feel better,” Beth Brothers, FNP-C, said. “The most rewarding feeling is that I have impacted someone in a positive way and that their health is better because of it! To understand the situation each patient is facing with their health and to make sure each person really understands what is going on with their health is my priority as a Nurse Practitioner. I like to give instructions that are clear and easily understood and provide time for questions so that patients know what to do to get well or improve their health.”
