Local Schools Support the Cause

Three area school athletic teams are partnering with Hannibal Regional Foundation to support the Life.Light.Hope patient assistance fund at the James E. Cary Cancer Center and the Hannibal Regional Infusion Center.

The first event will be Volley for a Cure at Western High School in Barry, Illinois.  The Western Wildcat Ladies Volleyball team will be selling pink t-shirts for this event.  The game will be Tuesday, September 26th at 6:00 pm.  Orders for these shirts must be placed by Tuesday, September 12th.

On Monday, October 2nd Starting at 5:00 pm, the Hannibal High Pirates and Palmyra Panthers Ladies Softball team will hold a Strike Out Breast Cancer game at Flower City Park in Palmyra.  The Lady Pirates and Lady Panthers will be selling pink short and long sleeved shirts for this event.  Orders for these shirts are due by Monday, September 18th.

The final event will be Thursday, October 5th when the Hannibal High Pirates Men’s Soccer team will host its annual Kickin’ Cancer game.  The games will begin at 5:00 pm at Veterans Field in Hannibal.  The Pirates will be selling purple short and long sleeved t-shirts and hoodies.  Orders for Kickin’ Cancer shirts are due by Monday, September 11th

Team members may show their support by wearing these shirts on their respective game day.  Payroll deductions are not available for these shirts and checks are to be made to respective teams.
