Wendy Harrington Recognized as 20 Under 40

Awards Wendy Harrington, CEO and President of Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation, was recently honored in the Quincy Herald Whig’s 20 Under 40 Issue. Dr. Harrington was recognized for her contributions to the community and our organization. Harrington joined HRHF in 2009 and holds an MBA and Doctorate from University of Missouri, and has recently earned her CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) designation. Wendy leads the Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation and since 2009 has assisted our Foundation in raising over $5 million dollars to support HRHS.

Jacque Craig Earns Certification as Joint Commission Professional

Jacque Craig, BSN, MSN, MBA, Accreditation and Licensure Coordinator at Hannibal Regional Hospital, recently became the third Certified Joint Commission Professional in the State of Missouri.  Jacque completed a self-study course over a 12-month period and sat for an examination to achieve certification. Dr. Lollar Joins An Elite Class Of “Fellows”

On October 7th, 2013, Kevin Lollar, MD, FACS was bestowed the honor of Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, thus allowing him the privilege of using the Fellow, American College of Surgeons (FACS) designation. To earn the FACS designation Dr. Lollar had to submit a twelve month summary of all surgical procedures he performed, be interviewed and evaluated by the state chapter of the the American College of Surgeons (ACS). The state chapter of the ACS evaluated Dr. Lollar on his education, training, professional qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct.


HRH Hosts Advanced Fetal Monitor Class

Advanced_fetal_monitoring On August 22nd and October 29th Hannibal Regional Hospital hosted an Advanced Fetal Monitor Class. Obstetricians and RN’s currently working in Labor and Delivery/Outpatient Triage in the Chris Coons Women’s Care Center attended. Connie Thompson and Pam Randazzo, Perinatal Outreach Educators from SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in St. Louis, presented evidence based practices and case studies. The interactive class discussed issues relating to safe OB patient practices, protocols, and innovative team improvements.

Belinda Krchelich and Matt Hanlin were the Compassionate Care award winners at Hannibal Regional Healthcare Systems’ 2013 Service Awards Banquet. The family of Mary Lou Leone, impressed by the support and compassion given by HRH team members in 2004, provided an endowment to the hospital’s Foundation to award patient care providers at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. The monetary amount of interest from the Leone family’s endowment is matched by the Foundation and awarded to two Hannibal Regional Healthcare System team members each year.
